We are seeking an APPRENTICE

Richard Maass, Owner started the business at 26 years old.  In 3 years I will be 50 and its time to pass the torch to the next leader, the next inspiration. 

In my time in this industry I have seen many changes.  I have seen the industry move and change.  I have seen clients come and go, and come back.  I have witnessed the Liberal Party of Ontario seek to destroy the industry and seen it rebound and recover.  I have seen 6 droughts and 3 very wet and cold years.  I have seen my clients grow up, seen their families grow, seen them prosper.  I have seen companies too come and go.

The "apprentice" will have the education and background to lead, organize, sell, brainstorm, co-ordinate and communicate with our clients.  He/She will have related industry experience and will have the moxy to take the company to the next level.  He/She will be a skilled negotiator and will listen and learn from the wisdom of 26 years in the horticulture industry.

Compensation during the 4 year "apprentice" period will be normal.   Sales,renewals and hard work will form the basis for the "down payment".  The reward will be in taking the reins in 2017-2018 and  taking over the companies day to day work and staff.  Richard Maass will stay on till 2020 in a consulting and sales role. By 2030 the "apprentice" now as owner can find a new apprentice.

Beneficial Services Technician:

The Job: To deliver services such as Aeration, Renovations and assist with tree/shrub work as well as other duties.
Qualifications : Be at least 25 yrs of age with good drivers Abstract and G licence.  Prior experience not essential however applicants with experience will be given an interview.
Starting pay $12 per hr with $2 per hour end of season bonus.  10% commission on new sales

Outside Salesperson:

The Job: Hunt down and acquire new sales in all services we sell.
Qualifications: At least 25 yrs old, prior sales experience, preference will be given to those with industry experience.  Must have own vehicle.
Starting pay:  Base of $300 per week* plus 15% var. commission on sales Plus $0.38 per Km for vehicle
*Base will only be paid when sales reports and paperwork are delivered to office of the president weekly
